Interactive Patient Management Program (PMP)

The ADA-PMP is designed to simulate on the web an actual initial patient visit followed by two follow-up visits. The program uses video, audio, and Q&A components to test history taking and physical diagnosis skills, accurate interpretation of laboratory tests, and selection of the appropriate treatment according to ADA recommended guidelines. Your score will be tabulated at the end of the program to identify areas of weakness and provide in-depth critiques with references to help strengthen the gaps in knowledge. The novel aspect of the PMP is uniquely designed to improve outcomes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
